In what measures are the pistons expressed? what does o.s mean? In the case of the main and rod bearing, what does u.s mean? Thanks for your reply.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
When purchasing this kit, you have to get your pistons, main bearings and rod bearing sizes to ordered properly. The pistons will either be standard or oversized by the measurement you would take of the cylinders. The mains and rods would be standard or undersized based off the sizes of your crank shaft that you would have measured.

It could if the cylinder wall was not getting oil correctly due to the rings being mis-installed. You would have to inspect to see what all is going on.

I don't know the mileage or history on the 4-134F engine in my M38-A1. Can you recommend whether I order a kit with standard components or oversized? If oversized, which oversize?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You should have a machine shop inspect and see what size pistons and bearings you need. We have pretty much any size available.
