My Jeepster has a gear box that is slightly different than the one in the video. The lower race was not attached to the steering shaft with a snap ring. To replace the lower race is it forced out from the exterior of the box along with the horn wire tube? Thanks for your help. Bill

Yes, you can push it out thru the bottom or if you take the worm gear out you can possibly get it to come out thru the side cover if luckly.
