My oil canister inlet is 1/8 pipe threat. Is this the right hose? Pictures don't show an end with male pipe thead.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You will want to use A210 as the adapter to your canister in addition to this hose.

I require a 12" oil filter inlet hose for an MB Jeep ( as I have a steel capillary line feeding up between the fuel pump). Can I use the Oil Filter Inlet/Outlet Hose (#910290) for this purpose? I do note the different capillary size between the old flex line and item #910290.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
10" on the outlet is what you need. Send some photos of your vehicle and we can see what all is going on. Thanks!

Do the fitting on this hose swivel on both sides or just one side like the factory one.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are made like original: 1 stationary 1 swivel

Do you offer this line in a custom length? I need a 26” length. I have a 1948 2A with a Monarch Hy-Lo pump installed where the oil filter would normally be. The filter was relocated to the driver’s fender and the current hose is just over 25”.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
647585 is a 30" hose that we do offer.

Seems like this 22" rubber inlet hose is going to be real close to the exhaust manifold. Any possibility it could get too hot?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Id have to see how you have it routed. They stay pretty clear of it. Please email an image to mike@kaiserwillys.com

what is the thread pitch of the fitting that gos on the block?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
1/8" NPT on male and 1/4" tube inverted flare on female

I have a 1952 M38A1 is this the correct oil filter inlet hose of 22 inches? I saw the 10 inch hose, and I think it is to small for my application. Please advise before I order this. Do I need to measure the hose? Thanks, for your help in this matter. Respectfully, Jim

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
It depends where your canister is mounted. Please call us toll free and we can help. I would measure off your canister to confirm distance.

I bought this 3/8 OD hose (647584) 2 or 3 years ago and I apparently bought another one the same length but 1/2 OD. I installed the 1/2 OD hose a year or so ago to the military style filter canister on my early 46 Cj2a jeep. Since I will not need the 647584.hose can I return it for credit against other purchases?

Willys Tech:
Sure if you need to return no problem. Just call us toll free.

Do you recommend putting an oil cooler inline with the inlet or outlet of the oil filter? I have a 1948 Jeep CJ-2A L-134 Engine

Willys Tech:
No, that is not necessary.

I ordered this hose along with the oil filter and. The other hose. The connector on this hose is to big for the outlet is there another size. The other hose the connector that screws into the oil canisters. Fits the outlet my jeep is a 49 CJ 3 A

Willys Tech:
You just need to go to your local NAPA and pick up a 49 cent adapter fitting and you are all set.

My original oil hose has fine threads, a replacement I got at the local parts dealer Part # 17470.06 has coarse thread. Does yours have fine thread..Going on '52 L134 cj3a

Willys Tech:
Yes I beleive they are fine thread. What we sell has the most common pitch configuration used by Willys.

Do these hoses replace the originel metal tubing

Willys Tech:
These vehicles typically had flex lines but some did metal lines. So yes it replaces either.

What other line is required for the oil filter canister? My oil canister and bracket were missing when I bought the jeep so I am trying to replace the set up. Is it the A-1198 oil line? And where does it connect to? The jeep is at the deer lease so I can't look at it.

Willys Tech:
The Oil Filter Outlet Hose part number: 647583. We also have the mounting bracket: A1247 They attached to the front passenger side of the block on the head studs.

My oil lines arent hooked up right, but I can't seem to find where this one goes, theres an inlet a few inched behind the fuel pump pointed down at a 45 degree angle, is that the one the description is talking about?

Willys Tech:
Yes, that is correct.
