I purchased a complete seal kit and installed the door seals. The problem is it did not seal the door completely and allowed wind noise. can you tell me the correct thickness for the door seal?

I purchased your door to body weather seal, after application the doors will not close. the weather strip is thicker and not the same shape as original. I need some help
