I want to change the gear ratio to 4.88 since I can order that part still new and the 5.38 ratio seems to be discontinued I called just about everywhere. If I change the ring and pinion in both axles will I be able to keep everything else stock in the axles and the rest of the vehicle without having any issues. There are others that claim that I would have a weak 1st gear.
