I have noticed that when I put my 1951 M38 on a vehicle lift, and the rear suspension is in full droop, that there is interference between the flange and the front U-joint on the rear driveshaft. It appears that at full droop (stock suspension and all new U-joints) the rear axle drops to the point that the drive shaft angle exceeds the design limits for the forward U-joint on the prop shaft. Is this normal or is there something wrong? The interference is slight so I am tempted to grind some material off of the flange.

My Jeep (CJ2-A) has a home-built rear driveshaft that is shot. It is ~18.5” center-to-center with the vehicle ready to go. Is this the correct shaft for that in-service length? Everything else seems to be a good match.
