Hi I have a custom fuel tank for my 1958 6-226 wagon it's 10in deep will part# 914848 work

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
There is no way to tell that for sure since you have something that isnt factory.

I was going through the Q & A section and two of the answers conflict each other on the gas gauge ohm readings, one was 7-9 full and 130-140 empty and the other was 8-10 full and 70-80 empty. Coulod you please explain? Thanks, Dale Henry

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Its: 8-1/2 - 10-1/2" FULL 70-80 EMPTY

Does this sending unit come with the 6 screws? Also will this work in my 1949 jeepster with original fuel tank? Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
B0306 is the part number for the screws.

Hello, will this sending unit work with the fuel gauge of my 69 Kaiser Wagoneer? Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, they used a different one.

I need to match an aftermarket fuel gage to this sender. They have all kinds of ohm ratings. Would the standard Ford 73-10 ohms work with this one? or do I need something else?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are the readings for the gauges: 7-9 Full and 130-140 Empty. Thanks

How do you adjust the reading on the fuel gauge?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
There is a small window on the back of your fuel gauge to adjust with a screw driver.

I have a 1958 willys fc170 , I am looking for a replacement speedometer cluster with temp and fuel sending units. Do you carry these parts? Thanks

Willys Tech:
914850 would be the one you need.

Does this sending unit work with your tank # MTS0018 ? If not tell me what is the part number for the sending unit that goes with this tank ?

Willys Tech:
Yes this is the correct sending unit for that tank.

I pulled the tank out of my 1950 Jeepster. It has a smooth flange and no holes for the sending unit. On the sending unit is a steel ring with the 6 screws in it, that was loose. Does this ring tighten to the tank flange when the sending unit is installed?

Willys Tech:
Yes that should be your fuel tank sending unit. It is attached with 6 screws.

What are the ohm resistance values for this unit? I am having my guages converted from 6 to 12 volt and need the ohm values to have it correctly calibrated.

Willys Tech:
8-10 Full and 70-80 Empty
