Noob question. How do I remove the existing horn button and after that, I assume this goes back in place the same way?

it should just pry off but be careful, you dont want to damage the rubber cushions below that attach with the pins.

Is there a trick to installing this? My pins fold down in the rubber block and won't go into the holes on the button

You may need to replace the rubber blocks if they are worn. It should pop down into place.
