I have a 1952 M38 24V. Can I use these if I’m not looking for the original waterproof cables and plugs right now?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, as long as you aren't 24V.

I am staying with 6 volt. Will the wire from coil to distributur be long enough thru the dash

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Not sure what you are asking about. Please give us a call and we can help you.

Is this wire set close to the original wires that came on the vehicle? Thanks.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes proper USA made wire set.

Do you have to add anything to the ends or are these a direct plug in to the distributor cap?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are ready for install.

Are these solid core wires or resistor type wires?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Solid core.

Will these work with electronic ignition modules that replace the points and condenser?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, these should.

What are the brass tacks? How do you install without crimps?

Willys Tech:
Those just stick thru the end of the cable and crimp in place. They are the contacts.

Since I'm going 12 volt do I need a shorter coil to distributor wire than the original wire that came from the dash mounted coil?

Willys Tech:
You will want to mount your coil on your block next to the distributor on the existing studs that are there. If your missing the bracket its part number: MSD8213

I have a dash mounted Keyed coil. Do you have a coil wire that would be long enough to reach that?

Willys Tech:
You are probably going to have to pick up the suppression wire locally. Typically you can buy it in universal lengths.

How can I shorten the suppression cables for my flat head 134 ? They seem to be much longer than my current old ones.

Willys Tech:
Yes these can be trimmed.

what is the firing sequence of the CJ-3A and the CJ-2A

Willys Tech:
1-3-4-2

Are they angled or straight? The description says they have the proper 90 degree angle but the photo shows them as being straight.

Willys Tech:
The image is going to be updated. They have the proper 90 degree bend on them.
