Do you sell speedi sleeve for front yoke on Dana 18 TC Do I need an oversize oil seal to make up for the sleeve ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No we do not.

I need the 1971 cj5 SINGLE STICK D18 TRANSFER CASE front yoke, I think they only came in the late 60's through 71.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Unfortunately, these are different from the one you need. That can only be found used through a salvage yard.

If I remove the transfer case mounted emergency brake unit and driveshaft yoke, will this front yoke work on the rear output shaft. The spline and shafts sure look the same.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We have not tried to do that. I would just leave the e-brake as is for proper spacing.

what is the dimension between the ears of the yoke(u-joint size) ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
8126614S is the joint this takes. Which that joint has: Diameter 1.650 at end caps. Overall length 3.25 end cap to end cap across.

I have a 1959 Willy's jeep truck. The rear output yoke is the u bolt style. Will this work for me?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
As long as you have a U-bolt style and not the Cleveland style (lock strap and bolt) joints it will work.

When i removed my front yoke, there was an "O" ring behind the washer. the "O" ring fit in a groove cut into the spines. do you have such a replacement yoke? i can send you a photo of the yoke if you wish. thank you.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Send mike@kaiserwillys.com photos to help.

When replacing seals — how much grove wear is acceptable to ensure a good seal on the yoke?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You want a good polished surface to ensure no leaks.

My 1971 CJ5 has a Dana 18 transfer case with I believe is a 1210 universal joints, I don't have the original front drive shaft but do have a shaft that uses 1310 universals can I get new yoke with the 10 spline and 1310 universal set up ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:

I need the yoke for the rear differenital on my CJ3A. What do I order?

WIllys Tech:
A1445 is the part number you need.

Will this work with the transfer case mounted parking brake? I purchased a yoke (from somewhere else) that was supposed to work and it didn't. The yoke is about 1/8 too short, causing the drum to bind up on the backing plate.

Willys Tech:
This yoke is for the front only. They shouldnt have sold it to you. You need the companion flange part number: 116714 for the rear.

have you ever seen gear oil leak past the splines of the front output yoke and if so what is the fix? fyi it has all new seals and is not leaking there. Thanks!

Willys Tech:
As long as you have the oil seal and felt seal it should not leak. Your old yoke may have developed a grove over the years causing it to leak.

Just to make sure - this is like the rear output yoke on the Station Wagons w/T-18 transfer case?

Willys Tech:
Yes it will work fine.
