I need a Front Dana 27 yoke to fit same U jiont in rear . Can you change front yokes to fit larger U joint?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@Kaiserwillys.com some more vehicle information and we can try to help.

does this yoke fit 1310 u joints, or the smaller 1210?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
See part number: 8126614S

Is the dust shield on this much smaller than the original? Also does it come snug. My dust shield became lose and rattled excessively. It also seems much larger than this one.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
There are different versions used thru the years and sizes of shields.

I have a 55 Truck with a 226. Both drive shaft have Cleveland style U joints. If I go to this yoke, is it still compatible with the Cleveland style ends on the drive shaft, or will I have to rework the drive shafts too?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, it is for U-bolt style only. We can help you on used. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com

I have a 1950 Willy station wagon I put a 305 sbc with 3 speed 350 Transmission. I need to get a drive shaft that fit Th 350 transmission and work with the rear end in the willy wagon. Will the Pinion Shaft Yoke A1445 work with a GM drive shaft that has U-joints?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Your best bet is to have a driveshaft place fabricate one for you given all your changes.

The yoke on the front axle has 26 splines. I need a new yoke because mine is grooved by the oil seal. do you have a 26 spline?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com more vehicle information and we can help out. Thanks!

Once the crown nut is tightened, should it be backed off to allow the cotter pin to be installed (in the video, the crown nut seems to spin loosely), or should it be as tight as possible? Also, after I installed the oil seal, I tapped in the yoke as far as it would go, and then installed the washer, crown nut, and cotter pin. Once that was done, however, the drive shaft felt as if it was binding against the oil seal, and it was difficult to turn by hand (in the video, the yoke seemed to turn freely by hand). Did I over-tighten the nut or tap the yoke in too far?

WIllys Jeep Parts Tech:
We usually use a nylon lock nut and torque to 65-75 lbs. If using a castle nut I would still try to maintain this spec if possible after installing cotter pin. Your mechanic manual will detail as well.

Will this Yoke fit on a 1969 CJ5 with a DANA 27 Front Axle

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, as long as you are 10 spline. Typically though you see 19 spline on that year Dana 27.

Your picture shows a 10 spline yoke. I need a 26 spline yoke. Do you have such an item in stock?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I need more vehicle in formation. Please call us toll free and we can help.

Is there a dust shield that would cover the oil seal on the front Dana 25? I didn't pull one off but it looks as though there should be something there like on the rear yoke going into the Dana 44.

Willys Tech:
We can probably get you good used. Please call us toll free.

Is there some type of seal that goes into the dust shield? The yoke is like the one pictured, but there istype of seal in it and I can't find it listed.

Willys Tech:
There is the pinion seal and pinion seal gasket. They are part numbers: 639265 & 636565

The pinion shaft yoke, does this keep gear oil from leaking or is there another seal behind the emergency brake assembelly

Willys Tech:
There is a pinion shaft oil seal: 639265 and the output seals: 923896 & 932295
