Questions & Answers
We have a 63 Willys wagon with a 64 ford 289 installed and are running a 12 volt battery with MSD electronic ignition. Will this work or will be have go back to an original distributor?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This is a loaded question. Obviously some connectors would need to be switched out. Will it 100% work out of the box, I have no idea. But could you make it work, probably. Give us a call and maybe we can discuss it further.

Does the harness come with a new fuse block and does it use more current ATC style fuses or old glass fuses ?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Willys never used fuses originally. You would need to wire in fuses if you would like them.

What is the gauge and makeup of the wire in the HARNESS-08 kit? Also, does the kit include wires for the add-on turn signal?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The wire is between 12-16 gauge depending on location of wire. Yes, it will have a provision for you to wire your turn signal kit wiring to it.

can I change from a 6volt system to a 12 volt system? will the current hardware work and just change the bulbs to 12 volt. does it affect the distributor or starter? I am aware that I will replace the generator with an alternator.
Willys Tech:
You will want to get part number: ALT12V and our 12 volt coil. The starter will be ok for a while but will eventually burn out. We have new 12 volt hi-torque starters too. The distributor will be fine.
