Is there a difference in a 4206 and a 4206B? I purchased the incorrect kit and after cleaning the crud off, I have a 4206B.

No difference in parts. Sometimes if they are ending in a T then it was some kind of a fungus treatment they put on them. But short answer is the parts inside are the same.

I noticed this says it fits station wagons. I have the IAT4206 distributor and 6-226 engine in a 1956 willys truck. Are the trucks supposed to have the IAT4404 or are both distributors pretty much the same?

You must match up your distributor numbers to the kit for it to fit.
