M38a1 24v Autolite regulator. With your solid state regulator is the ammeter still going to work ? I read someplace that the ammeter needs to be replaced with a voltmeter ??

My Jeep is original 24v and there are only 2 wires from generator marked F and B, and 1wire from generator to battery marked B. Is this item compatible with.
