do you connect the 12v hot lead to the center nut? and connect the horn button on the steering column to the other connections? I am having trouble connecting mine and getting it to work

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and we can walk you thru it. Thanks!

whats the factory original horn these jeeps came with

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Give us a call and we can help you out with that.

Does this horn require a relay, or just direct wiring through the steering button?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You can wire direct or use a relay.

I have a 1960 pickup. It has a horn relay and a steering wheel button but the horn is missing. I assumed that the ground connection was made when mounting the horn to the inner fender or firewall and therefore I'd need a horn with a single lead just for 12V. However, the horns shown here require two connections. Can you assist?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech.:
Yes, when you push the button the inner metal horn button cup makes the connection. Basically the horn is always hot.

Hi - could I put this in my current Wrangler JK? Assuming probably with it being 12v but want to make sure by asking the experts! Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
It is a 12 volt horn so it may work for you.

Does this horn have the old school ahh-ooo-ahh type sound? Is there a sound clip anywhere?

Kerry Barker:
These are a "meeeep meeeep" type sound
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These sound very similar to the original.

Does this come with a mounting bracket? Where does it mount , firewall or fender?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this comes with the mounting bracket and can be mounted just about anywhere.

does this mount under the horn button on the steering column?

Willys Tech:
This is a complete horn as shown. It mounted on the inner front fender or firewall like original.
