I pulled out the horn rod on my 51 M38 steering column but it won't go back in? Is there a trick to getting it to slide back in place? Without removing the entire steering shaft and box?

Where can I find instructions on removing/installing a 1952 M38A! horn switch/rod/etc.?
Frank:
But to put it back in, you have to go under the jeep and remove the horn switch to put it back in, you can not put it in from the top.
