Questions & Answers
I have an M38 (not sure of exact year because all id plates are gone). I have some rotten metal where it welds to the frame on the passenger side. Will this mount fit the M38? Length, arc, diameter, etc? I'd appreciate any info.

I need a new front crossmember for a 1949 CJ2A. I purchased the one above thinking I was going to do a power steering conversion but now I want to stay with the stock steering. Can I make this crossmember work? If not where can I get a crossmember that will work?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You will have to go through a salvage yard for the part that you are looking for. Unfortunately, we don't have any information for upgrades to power steering.

I have a 1947 CJ2A ser#128000 I need to replace the front crossmember and frame front rails . My bell crank mount is welded to this cross member. The diagram of the crossmember item A1203 does not show the bell crank mount attached to the crossmember. Does the mount come with the crossmember and if so would I have to weld it to the crossmember. If I have to order the bell crank mount separate please reply with the proper mount item #. I appreciate the help
