What is the frame width that these shock mounts will go over . ie can you measure these shock mounts for me. I need to replace these on a 47 CJ-2A and the frame is 1.750" wide. I can modify if needed, just need to understand ahead of time what I will be needing to do. Thanks for your help.

I'm replacing the front 40" of frame rail on a 46 Cj2a. The replacement rail is specified for 41 - 48 (including) Cj2a. I'm looking for new shock mounts for the same repair. Would these shock mounts work for this Cj2a?
