Does the `52 CJ3A require this rod? Thank you

If your a bottom mount radiator that has the tap at the top to take the end of the rod.
If your a bottom mount radiator that has the tap at the top to take the end of the rod.

No they did not use one if a side mount radiator. Only bottom mount.

I am working on a 1946 CJ2A that somebody else partially restored...about 95% . I have never had one of these jeeps so I know this rod is needed but there is only a hole on the radiator side. Where does it attache on the other end?

642057 is the part number you need if your wanting steering parts. If you want the cowl support rod then that is available salvage yard only for that vehicle.
