I too have a 161 which has a flat area past the thread (not really a should, just a flat spot same diameter at the threaded area). Will these sub for that style?

My 1961 CJ5 has 4 of these on the crank flange but they have a shoulder on them. Shouldn't these have a shoulder too? I am not referring to the tapered ones, just the other 4. Or, do the tapered ones handle the shear forces of the flywheel? Thanks, Glenn
