Mike, I have the 1 1/8” shaft Dana 18 t-case. I need the rear bearing cap housing. I see this one is for the 3/4” shaft. Are they compatible or available for the bigger shaft? Thanks

Hey mike I have a very early 53’3b the transfer case has a different rear output shaft cover ( e brake was removed ) intermediate shaft measures 1” . I need a rear cover with e brake lever stud and proper mounting surface for the backing plate. Any ideas? I would like to go back to the stock e brake. I think it is the OEM transfer case.

Does this only work when you are in 2WD or can it be used while in 4WD? It looks like it would only work for the output to the rear axle and not the front.
Jeff:
I had an overdrive equipped ‘66 CJ5 when I lived in Arizona. I loved the overdrive and frequently used it when in 4wd on the desert and mountain trails. It kept me from having to stop and shift between high and low on the smooth parts of the trail.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Really you would never run the overdrive while you are in 4WD because you should never be going that fast while in 4x4.
