Hi, will this assembly work on a 1954nM38A1?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The M38A1 used a different set up. See diagram: https://www.kaiserwillys.com/diagram/m38a1-diagrams/brake-diagrams-willys-m38a1/emergency-brake-exploded-view-52-71-m38a1/emergency-brake-m38a1

Do you sell just the piece from the backing plate that holds the brake shoes in place? In the first picture of this item page, its at the bottom opposite of the "Emergency Brake Shoe Adjuster Bracket" and appears to be comprised of three parts: A larger back plate, a smaller square front plate, and a nut/bolt that holds those pieces to the backing plate. When installed, it's on the passenger side of the vehicle. It's not broken out on any diagram I've seen so I don't know what exactly to call it.

Do you sell a complete kit of ALL parts required to put an emergency brake back on a CJ2a? From the drum, to the backing plate, handle, etc? Offer a diagram on installation? I am starting with zero parts.

I may be acquiring two 1951 CJ3A's in the very near future. While looking at your website, I found that you have front and rear disc brake conversion kits. I was wondering if your emergency brake kit will work with the rear disc brakes, or will I need to find another way to install the emergency brake. Thank you for your time, Kenny Wright West Virginia
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The disc kits dont effect the emergency brake on the CJ-3A. Your emergency brake is transfer case mounted.
