I've installed this kit but not run it yet. I live at 6,000 feet and will be running up to 11,000 feet. Can you provide me with the specs for the main jet in the kit so I can obtian some smaller jets to lean it out if needed?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I really dont think smaller jets are available on this. The best thing to do at elevation is run a high octane fuel and that will help.

Is this the correct kit for the 2467?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You would be better off with 923800

I'm going to have my Carter carb professionally cleaned and rebuilt. It's missing some check balls and I was wasn't sure if this kit or US Made carburetor Repair Kit 48-71 Jeep & Willys with Carter YF carburetor Part # 924160 would be right (I'm not entirely sure of the difference between the two sets from what I see from the images- but I need the check balls present with them is all. Do you know which of the two would be correct for my case?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Give us a call and ask for Mike M. He is our carburetor guy.

I'm working on a 1954 Willys CJ3B with Carter YF 944 carburetor , will this kit work?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:

My Carter YF carburetor on my 1953 Willys Station Wagon (4 cyl) does not have the vacuum line fitting for the wipers, do you carry that part?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Give us a call and we can try to help you.

I am working on a 1953 Willys CJ3-B it has the Carter YF 964S carburetor, will this kit work?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes that should be the proper kit.

Does a new float come with this

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No they do not.

Will this kit work with a YF 2467?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The part you would need is 923800

I have a YF 723 will this work?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Since the Carter YFs typically have the same bases for the most part, you may be able to find a gasket. There is no 100% way to tell unless you try it. But we would not be able to confirm if it would.

Do you mail parts to Northern Ireland. Carburetor repair kit.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes email mike@kaiserwillys.com and we can quote you out.

Hi! This rebuild kit has the next items: throttle lever, shaft and clevis clip? thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
It will have everything in the photo shown.

I have a Carter YF 932SA carb fitted to the F134 motor in my recently purchased 1950 Station wagon. I have no idea whether this is the correct carb and the previous owner had made a real mess of the needle and seat (it was soldered together) so I have put together something that should be workable from parts I can get locally (South Africa) I now need to set the float level. The instructions on your site state a 5/16 inch (7.9 mm) float level clearance for the YF carb fitted to the CJ6. Should I use the same float level setting or do you have another number for me ? The wagon runs OK on open throttle but floods periodically and runs out of power on pull off.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The YF should be the same setting but I will need to see if we can confirm.

My carb has a 782 on it. Will this kit work? db

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This works for most YF carters.

what I should I use to seal around/ seal up the paper gaskets in this kit? perhaps rtv or Indian head sealant ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
A thin layer of rtv.

is this kit compatable with a YF-944

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This kit works with most YF Carter but I will confirm.

Hi, can you send me a list parts Master Carter Carburetor Repair Kit for Carter YF? Thanks.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and I can email it over to you. Thanks!

Does the master carb kit for the YF have all parts and gaskets that the regular one has as well as linkage parts or does a person need both kits to get all parts? How much do you charge to rebuild carb?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This kit has all the parts as the standard kit plus additional linkage. We can also rebuild your Carter for $299.00.

Does a float come with this kit (item # 924160-MK)?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
779966 is the part number for the float.

I received a carburetor rebuild kit #924160-MK I'm wondering why there weren't any directions included with the kit.

Willys Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com we can send you over instructions. Thanks!

Do you re-build or exchange carbs?

Willys Tech:
We can do either. We can rebuild yours or when we get your core in and confirm its good. We can swap our for another rebuilt one.

Does this kit include the accelerator pump check ball if not do you have a kit with one or one sold separately

Willys Tech:
Yes I do believe the check ball is included and shown in the photo.

My carb is leaking out of the bottom butterfly..does this kit have what i need?

Willys Tech:
You may have an issue that needs to be bushed on the butterfly shaft and that would require a professional rebuild by us. This kit however will handle pretty much any other issue.

Is the accelorator pump for the carter yf 938 available by it self

Willys Tech:
Sorry, we can only get these in complete kit.

On all the instructions I have found online none make much refrence to cleaning the carb prior to rebuilding.I could use the carb and choke cleansr spray that is sold over the counter that is a mix of accetone, toule and something else or I could put them in my handy parts washer and use a soft brush.I think the latter would be preferable but thought it best to ask a pro

Willys Tech:
It really depends on the condition of your carburetor. Some require more cleaning some less. The big thing is that they are free of deposits, rust, ect. A soft brush never hurt with cleaning fluid.

Wondering if this kit..like i think it shows in the picture...has new jets and other small parts as opposed to the other kits that just have gaskets and the accel pump?!

Willys Tech:
Yes that is correct.

I recently bought a really nice 1969 CJ5 with the 225 dauntless V6 ,I'm trying to keep her stock but she doesn't have the original OEM Carburetor. Can anyone tell me what the OEM Carb. (Model & #) is for this motor? I did get the OEM Oil Bath Air Cleaner when I bought the Jeep. Thanks!! .Steve

Willys Tech:
Please call us toll free. We can rebuild yours or we can get a good used one for you.

Do you have a source for the accelerator pump springs only. And brass float.

Willys Tech:
