I have a 1953 Willys Overland station wagon SN 653-AA2 Engine Number 649656-3 it has a 6 cylinder F-head engine. Does this manual (035) cover that engine? I do not think it is the 226 engine the Bore is roughly 3.125 the Pistons are 3.115 to 3.118 in diameter Thanks, Rob

I just purchased what I'm told is a 1953 Willy's Panel Delivery; however, while doing some research, I'm not sure if this is accurate. How can I be certain if the original engine has been replaced with a 55, 56, or 57 Chevrolet 256 cubic inch? The plate on the dash lists the date of delivery as 10-56. Also what causes me concern are the windows in the back. I can't find any other Panel Deliveries with windows in the back. Is this perhaps just a modification, or did they make the Panel Delivery with windows along the side, behind the passenger and driver's seats? Thanks in advance! Can provide pictures if needed. I have a 1950 Willys pickup with a 4-134L engine. The manual talks about the 4-134F engine. Are the specs the same for both engines? Are there two different manuals?

Its probably a 1949 just titled as a 1950 the year it was sold off the lot. The engines are very similar in reguards to alot of the torque specs.
