Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Honestly, they all will do the trick. Brass/Copper would be the best materials but if you are running that hot, i would check other things to get to the root of the problem.

Do you have a radiator that would fit m-38 with 225 v-6 jeep motor. The m-38 radiator would be good if the lower hose fitting was on the passenger side instead of the drivers side. Are you able to custom build one? THANKS
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You may have enough room to use a universal flexible hose to make work. These are a thinner radiator than the original (while still providing more than adequate cooling for a V8 engine).

My 1954?cj3b runs hot no matter what I do. Is changing the radiator a reasonable solution? Engine was rebuilt as part of a complete off frame restore.i even run the heater to help with cooling but on a recent 75 degree day the temp got up to 220 with a speed not exceeding. 30mph . I live in the mountains so roads are up and down.
Willys Tech:
If your radiator is over 60 years old its probabaly not going to cool properly for sure. It will probabaly do the trick and get your temp down.
