Do you put the disconnect on the positive or the negative terminal? Thanks

You can really put it on either but most people install it on the negative.

Most of the information I can find about these suggest they should be installed on the negative post. Since I just received a set of these for my 24 volt M-38 from Kaiser do you suggest the negative post as well. Or for that matter does it even make any difference positive /negative. Thanks for your time.

Why would I want two doesn't this go on the Positive side and there is only one cable leaving the compartment. ?
