Includes adjustable mounting clamp and built in flasher option but does not come with a flasher.
Is not self cancelling.

About How many Hours does it take to install the Blinker on a CJ-5 with stock steering column and stock wiring ?

If the blue wire on the turn signal switch witing is a ground wire and connects to the "P" terminal wire coming from the flasher and the housing is plastic, then how does it ground? I haven't been able to get the red indicator light to light up when I pull the lever to turn right or left. What am I missing? Thank you for your time and help.

With the turn signal switch in neither left or right position (or in "off" position) do the front and rear lights stay on like running lights?

Will this work on 12 volts with a bulb change? The description says there is a built in flasher but the wiring diagram shows a remote flasher. Will I need to purchase a separate flasher and socket?

What are the length of the wire in this kit? Is there a plug in for the flasher?

I connect up the turn signal to my 6 volt system per the instructions and the voltage out to the light is only 4.6 volts which will not power the light, When I measured the voltage to my brake light it is right around 6.4 volts. The same bulb works on the brake light but not on the turn signal. Also I see 6.4 volts out of the flasher but it does not flash, it is a steady 6.4 volts.

Does the brake light turn off on signal direction side with this signal direction kit,or are other relays required

Really you just have a flasher you wire in. We have both 6 or 12 volt and socket if you need it.

What does the external flasher do? Does it actually cause the "blinking" of the tail lights, or/and does ti make the indicator lights on the instrument cluster flash. I have this unit ready to install on.my '61 CJ-3B. There is an old flasher and plug screwed to the firewall, but it is unusable.

The bulbs you use will determine the amps. If you have a 6 volt system, the amp would run 20-30 but if you have a 12 volt system, the amps would run 10-20. Thanks
