I have an unidentified 54 jeep. What I know is that it has the Hurricane Engine and has the following numbers on the frame and above the Water Pump. I would like to get a new body for it but now sure which one would be right. The numbers I have are DWF 03R over the wtr pump, casting number is 807895, I found these numbers on the side of the frame DD 66 44. Can you help me id this jeep so I can rebuild the body?

Will CJ-3B body parts fit my CJ-5 of the same year (1956)? I specifically want everything foward of the tub itself to look like a 3B (hood, fenders. and front end).

I have a 1960 CJ 3B. Observing the replacement tub kit, it looks like you have to a hole for the gas tank fill tube and which is located on the drivers side?

Yes, that is correct. It is a side fill under the drivers seat. There is the filler hole and housing just behind the door opening like original.

The weather seals would be separate. You need to drill your tail light holes. As long as it doesn't have tires on there it should go free shipping.

They have different wheel base and length. I would put a CJ-3B body on a CJ-3B chassis and a CJ-5 body on a CJ-5 chassis.
