Does this part use a standard yellow crimp on wire sleeve to connect to the two probes or something else? They don't seem to attach well an I hate to crimp it on too tight if it uses something else. The previous switch I am replacing is your item # 931216. It has a very different type of connector. Thanks

Hi, will this switch work on both 6v and 12v systems
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, that is correct. It is just a pressure switch.

I have a 1946 CJ2A. After a brake application, the brake lights stay on. So, I've replace the brake light switch (637417) a couple times which didn't fix the problem. I then just recently replaced the master cylinder and I have the same issue. If I crack one of the 4 bleeders on any wheel, the brake lights go off. Any idea's?

A bit odd. I would check your free pedal travel on your brake pedal.

Does this part 637417 have the same thread dimensions as 647801 for CJ2A?
