I have a 51 jeepster and ordered A hood ornament like the one above. When I installed it I found that the wings don’t lay flat on the hood. Also there are 2 small holes equal distance from the center in the hood. Your suggestions?

Sounds like you have the 3 week deluxe version hood ornament. They formed the hood different. No one makes that style ornament and they are not interchangeable. Call or email mike@kaiserwillys.com happy to help out.

I just purchased this hood ornament and it seems the mounting bolt is different size than what I have. Could you please tell me what the thread size is on the the new one? Thanks

It is proper for the two wing style like your ordered. If you have the 3 wind style (i.e. a wing going down the center of hood) they are not interchangeable for this reason. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com or call us toll free to help. THanks!

My son in law is working on a 1960 willys wagon with a pointed hood and was told he could not get the hood ornament. is this the right one? if so I would like to buy it for him as a surprise....

I have a 58 wagon with a missing hood ornament. The one you picture on parts list looks like it would work but my hood has what appears like an extra hole/slot behind the ornament a few inches behind the center of the ornament on the top crease of the hood. What do you make of that? Johnny

have '62 wagon with 3 wing hood ornament - missing center WO medallion. Will the medallion in the 2 wing fit the 3 wing version?

Yes, but it will be a bit small for the 50+. You will have to fill in around the edges with paint.
