Does the masonite door panels have a textured or smooth finish?

I have a 52 Willy’s wagon. The plate with the ID number confirms that. My wagon does not have the push button exit device, it has the door handles. Do I simply purchase the panel set for the years that show the door handle as my vehicle or am I missing something.

What is the masonite covered with? What color is the covering? Is there any padding between the cover and the masonite?

There is nothing covering the masonite. The color is just the actual color of the masonite which is brown. And lastly, there is no padding between the cover and masonite. Thanks
