Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sounds like you have an alternator. Email mike@kaiserwillys.com to help out.

Which Oil Pressure line kit is designed for use with the gauge in this kit ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
A1190

My 48 CJ2A has been converted to 12v and I am using a 1 wire alternator set up. Will this ammeter work with this set up? Or is there a different gauge for voltage

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We do have amp gauges if you like. Please email mike@Kaiserwillys.com

Do these gages have back lighting?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No, they never originally were. Search for 'dash light' on our site and you'll see what was originally used depending on vehicle.

I have a 1965 CJ5 that I would like to use the military dash on. Would the sending units for oil pressure and temp need to be changed for an F-134 engine? Mine runs an alternator, would the ammeter have anything to connect to? It can fill in a spot on the dash if there isn't a viable connection.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Give me a call toll free or email mike@kaiserwillys.com and I can help with all of this.

I have a Cj3b with a v6 cly different axels will the gauge set still work with what I have?

Yes, as long as you put in the proper sending units on the motors it should.

I just got this kit. Trying to figure out the Oil Pressure gauge, Looks like its a for a tube style. I have a 45' CJ2A with a 64' Buick 25 V6 and the sending unit in that is a wire style. Any ideas how I can get it to work or is there another part number to consider?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
A-1198-ST and A-1198 are the hard line and flex line. Also will need A4436 union. To the V6 though you may have to modify.

Do the gages come with installation instructions? My CJ-3A has been jury rigged for wiring and under the dash is a train wreck. Before I rip it out, I’ll want to have the right information in hand.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No they do not. Give us a call and we can get you fixed up.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:

i have a 1959 willys cj3b what are the proper guages for this model currently it has a speedometer with fuel and temp but also seperate oil temp and amp guages

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sounds like you may have something unoriginal given you have a 5.5" speedometer with the fuel and temp built in. With that set up the amp and oil were just on dummy lights in the speedometer itself. Someone added those other gauges.

Does this kit also include the floor boot and required hardware for the floor boot install?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Those are separate items.

I have a couple questions. My M38A1 is converted to 12 volt. I noticed mention of a dashlight, the M38A1 has windows in the gauge to allow the external light to shine in gauge. Do these have the windows? Does the temp gauge have the sensor that goes into th engine block as well, or do I need a 12 volt temp sensor? Finally, is it an electrical oil pressure gauge or mechanical, if electrical, what oil pressure sensor do I need?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The M38A1 had a pair of protruding dash lights originally for illumination. If you can call me toll free and ask for Mike M. I can help out.

does the fuel gauge come with the sending unit?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No, that is a separate item in the tank.

Will these gauges fit a 1943 MB that has been converted to 12 volt.

My question is regarding the temperature and oil pressure guages. I would like to replace my all in one cj5 gauge with this set, will these guages work with the cj5 12v sensors?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You should have a speedometer cluster with fuel and temp gauge built in...like this number - 914845. If that's the case, you would need part number - 8126919K. Thanks

are these the original style gauges?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, that is correct.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are only available in the MPH style. Thanks!
