Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We do not sell chinese springs. However, this kit has the import springs. If you want to swap the US springs into the kit, we can do that. You just need to give us a call.

As long as it is a M38 frame with original hangers it should work for you.

Is there any difference between this suspension overhaul kit for the M38 and the one for the CJ3A? I see that they have a different part number, but I can't tell the difference in the two kits. I have an M38 tub on a CJ3A frame. Thanks!

Do you have the greasable shackle bushings? One of them on my M38 CDN has stripped grease nipple thread and several are clogged up and won't accept grease. Should they be replaced or just cleaned?

I have a 50 m38 and would like to keep the factory height on the suspension but would like a soft ride spring. All of the soft ride kits I've seen have at least 2 inches of lift. Is there one with no lift?
Willys Tech:
Please call me toll free. I can go over your options. This kit is your best bet. It should raise you up approx 1 to 1.5 off what your sitting at now due to your sagging springs. It takes it back to stock height and gives it a good ride again.

I've a 1952 M38 Jeep Willys I recently purchased. Unfortunately I never drove it over 30 mph when test driving it. Today, I drove it and at about 32 mph it began to bounce and shake to the point it was hard to keep it on the road. Once I slowed down below 30 mph it was fine. It does not have the original suspension on it. Any suggestions on what may be wrong?

Purchase the steering stabilizer kit we sell. Part number: SJ-7100. It will do the trick.
