I have a '47 CJ2/a. with no drivers seat. Is this seat correct for my Jeep. Your pic shows the front left leg is bent inward. Some other web sites show that left front leg straight down. Just want to know which is the right one?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:

I have this seat frame in good shape from my 1946 2a. I also have the springs with the bottom pan, what looks like a horse hair pad and then foam. Is there a cover that will fit over all of this or should I be ordering a replacement foam seat pad and use plywood for the bottom? I'm not hung up on it being original, we still use this jeep for doing real work. I need same for passengers side. Thanks Ben 207 272 5723

We have alot of options for you. We can make a plywood pan to replace your metal pan, if your metal pan has upholstery hooks then we can do a draw sting style. Please email pics to mike@kaiserwillys.com to help.

I have a 47 willies. I am 6 ' 1'' and 295#. The drivers seat is too close to the steering wheel. Do you make a narrow profile seat back that woiuld allow more room for driver. The wheel pan will not allow seat to move back. Or do you make a smaller diameter steering wheel that would give more room for driver?
Willys Tech:
You could possibly modify this frame to fit in there.

I have a 1945 CJ-2A. Most parts are reused from left over MB parts. Will this seat fit or do I need a MB seat?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This seat would work for you just fine. You should just make sure you have part number: REARBRKT on your CJ2A as well.
