I have a replica CJ3a body, like what you could buy from JC Whitney, from the 70's. It does not have an under-seat tank. Would this be the best frame to use?

I need to rebuild the tubing on the upper part of both factory seat frames on a 54 CJ-3B. I plan to buy the back solid plate and top and bottom cushions (bottoms with plywood). I need to know the exact measurements of the frame tubing so we can build it. Can you supply these measurements? Or, should I just order the back solid piece and build the top of the frame to match it? Thanks!

I am trying to mount this seat to my 61 CJ3B body tub and its easy to see how the 3 legs mount but the 4rth behind the driver just hangs? no bracket on the tub or the seat?? can't be right to let it hang?

I am restoring a 1953 willys jeep. Will your driver side seat fit over the gas tank. Do you need brackets for seat or just bolts. Does the passenger seat fit over the tool storage box and can you access your tools easily or not. What does one do for cushions or do they slip on.

Yes this goes over the gas tank like original. They just bolt to the floor like orignal as well. Yes the passenger side pivots on the tool box as well like original. We also sell complete seat cover and cushion sets too.

I HAVE A 61 CJ3B,THE LEFT LEG ON THE DRIVERS SEAT MOUNTS TO THE TOP LIP OF THE DOOR OPENING IN THREADED HOLES LIKE THE CJ5/M38 SEAT FRAME AND NOT TO THE FLOOR. DID THE 3B EVER COME WITH THIS STYLE OR DID SOMEONE ALONG THE WAY CHANGE SOMETHING? I CAN PUT WHATEVER I WANT IN I WOULD JUST LIKE TO PUT IN THE CORRECT ORIGINAL VERSION.

I'm restoring a 55 CJ3B and it has the seat frame that bolts to the floor. I also have a 1964 CJ3B thats waiting till I get the 55 done. It has the seat frame that bolts as you described, to the top of the lip on the door frame. There are several bolt holes with threads so you can take an hour and adjust the seat forward or backward.

i have a 58 willys jeep that i can"t drive because the seats are to close and to high. is it possible the seats have been changed and are new seats adjustable

How does the back of the drivers side seat frame attach to a CJ-3A body? Does the back of the seat frame just rest against the rear wheel fender well? The image for the A2286-3A seat frame shows mounting holes on the front legs, but doesn't show how it attaches in the back.

Yes it rests agains the bracket on the front part of the rear wheel well. Then the inner side of the frame has a bracket to rest on the floor board.

Looks like this would fit my 66 CJ5 with some modification to the 66 body for the bolts. Alternatively, can you find a good used driver's side seat frame for a 66 CJ5?

I have a 1970 CJ-5 I'm trying to restore to look like a M38A1 and I was wondering if these seats will fit my Jeep. I'm almost certain they will but I wanted some confirmation.
