Is there a similar part for 9" brakes? Bought a 57 CJ5 that was completely torn down.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No, the 9 inch brake set ups do not have a part like this.

Does the Emergency Brake STRUT " wider notch " face to the rear of the brake and both the shoe and parking lever fit in the notch? That is, to the right when facing the wheel.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
See link on install: https://www.kaiserwillys.com/diagram/wheel-brake-46-64-truck/

The answers about the strut are confusing the customers. SCRATCH the words 2 per wheel. It is two per axle. One per wheel. And of course, the Ebrake is only in the rear.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
There is one per wheel. And these are sold each. Thanks!

Parking break strut narrow notch is a fraction too small for standard 11” break shoes from NAPA. Are your shoes ribs narrower than standard?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The strut is made correctly. You need our part number: 804981 or 918246 for the correct shoes depending on vehicle.

is the curved piece the same for 10 or 11 inch brakes. watching some on ebay but not sure if fit is the same. thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The e-brake lever is different between the two I do believe but will confirm.

Why are 2 required per wheel?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are 1 required per wheel.

Is the curved rod that mounts to the back of the shoe that the cable hooks to available? I have a 1950 jeep pickup with the timkin rear axle but someone has removed all the hardware for the emergency brake to function.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The emergency brake levers on the Willys Truck are only available good used. Please call us toll free.

it says two required per wheel. isn't it just one per wheel and only in rear, so two per vehicle (rear axle)? also, does beveled end go toward outside or inside of the assembly?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, it is 2 per wheel in the rear only. See link: https://www.kaiserwillys.com/diagram/truck-diagrams/brake-diagrams-willys-truck/wheel-brake-truck-wagon-jeepster/wheel-brake-truck-wagon-jeepster
