The belt that is on my 1947 willys is a 17-41.4 will this bely #647629 work?

My belt ran off pully today. Fortunately, I was running slow enough to notice it and got engine off right away. My question is: I have a 1950 Willy's 4 cyl F Head 473 engine. Looks like belt that came off may have been wront. It had 41" on it. Will this one 647629 fit it?

Give us a call and we can help. The belt should be tight, which is can be done via adjustment on the Alternator/Generator at the arm.

I have a 1954 Army Jeep with a plow on it the plow pump is mounted on top of the generator and all 4 of the pulleys are wide and I need a wide belt to fit do you have a wide belt that will fit.

647629 is a wide belt but you'll probably need a longer one to accommodate the extra pulley. Email mike@kaiserwillys.com a picture of your set up.

My 46 CJ2 engine has a double crank shaft pulley, will the 647629 fan belt fit this engine? Thank you

That would be unoriginal if your double groove. But if you are double groove then use part number: 118866

I purchased a wide belt from NAPA and my crank pulley and water pump pulley are wide but I have an alternator and it has a narrow pulley. Will your belt work on my jeep if I can get it tight enough?

Don't do it. Get the right size pulley or you will tear up your bearings in the water pump and alt.

I would address the improper pulley on your vehicle. It may work if tensioned properly though and not slip, but its not ideal.

Is it the same belt for both 6 and 12 volt systems? (i.e. WO - A9490 / WO - A9490-12)

I have a belt for my L134 engine and it wont fit to small its a three five auto belt the number is 17x1075 is the above belt larger and the correct belt for my engine
