Questions & Answers
In an earlier question that asked if the photos were reversed you answered it was bad lighting, but went on to say that the 6v (# B0635) was actually black (that's what it looks like but the description says it is chrome). So, is the 12v horn (# B0634) chrome as it looks in the picture or black?
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Currently they are chrome. We have had a couple different suppliers in the past.

Do you have a wiring diagram that shows which of the lugs on this horn is +battery and which is ground? There are no markings on the housing. One of the lugs is in a rectangular plastic lip, the other is in a circled 90 deg plastic lip.

The pictures show this to be a 6 volt chrome horn. Is this an error in pics? The pictures of the 6 volt chrome horn are completely black except for the mount and I can't read the voltage on the pix.

My horn somehow went missing. My son took it off and well you know... lost now. It is a 1964 CJ5. Do you have a good used original you can sell me? It's a beep type not the trumpet style.

I have a 1944 MB that was rebuilt at the Esslingen rebuild shop in 1947. It has a Bosch pancake-style horn. In restoration, would it be correct to continue with this horn, as it was probably installed during the rebuild. I assume the Bosch horn came from the Mercedes operation, as the Esslingen shop was the old pre-war Mercedes plant. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Dave
Willys Tech:
I would say its your call on that. We also sell the early style trumpet horns part number: 12VHORN and 6VHORN
