I have a 1960 Willys - cj5 and i bought two new front brake hoses and got them on. However, they get stretched tight once the wheel is turned. Are the fittings on these 16 inch lines the same as item number 800896 (12inch brake line)?

This listing states 11" brakes. I have 10" on my 1949 Jeepster will these work?

Are the brake hose retaining clips necessary if purchasing this kit? The last picture indicates that they come with c-style clip.
