My 1952 M38A1 has rubber bushings in the front of each leaf spring. Is this the correct bushing?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes that is correct.

What outer diameter has this part? KR Wolfgang

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Overall Length: 1-3/4" ID: 1/2" OD: 7/8"

If this is used on the front of the rear leaf spring assemblies, what goes on the rear? My 65 CJ5 appears to have drop shackles.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They used the same front and rear.

Will this work for an M38 without a greasable eye bolt?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You may have to ream to fit on the M38

Looking for 1967 (Kaiser) Jeepster Commando parts - in this case the leaf spring pivot eye bushings. Will these fit? I do not see the Jeepsters (C-101) listed anywhere.

Willys Tech:
We do have alot for this. Please call us toll free. We can probably help out.

Do i need this bushing for my M38A1 spring

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you are a non-grease able pivot eye bolt then this would be correct for you.

What are is the OD and ID of these bushes?

Do these bushings fit both ends of the spring as well as the chassis bracket on the shackle end?

Willys Tech:
These are for the pivot eye end only on the M38A1.

I have a '60 CJ5 with closed shackles, which I'm replacing with new, heavier closed shackles. While I'm working on it, I want to replace all the leaf spring and shackles bushings. Are these used on both ends of the leaf springs as well as the shackle-to-frame bracket? I'll need 12 of them for the whole job if so.

Willys Tech:
Yes 12 will do both the pivot eye and shackle ends of the whole vehicle.

have a 1967 cj5 and i thought that there is one of each leaf spring bushings on each end of the spring but here it says only 4 for the whole vehicle instead of 8

Willys Tech:
Yes this is the same bushing for the shackle as well. It can be used on both.

I have a cj2a with shackles that look like 916646. I need new steel-rubber bushings. I believe that 921055 is the correct bushing, however 921055A also looks like it. Whats the difference, will either work?

Willys Tech:
They originally used bronze bushings on a CJ-2A. If this is the sytle you have Im sure it will work.

How are these installed / removed?

Willys Tech:
Just press them in with a vise.
