Do these accept the original steel fuel lines, it do we have to use rubber fuel lines? Is this the only fuel regulator you gave, I remember seeing a chromed single output regulator before.

This is an improvement from the chrome ones we used to have. You could run your hard lines or rubber lines with a fitting and be all set. It can do either.

I need to purchase the inline fuel pressure regulator for my CJ3B. Will I also need to purchase item number 802040 to be able to attach the regulator to existing metal gas line?

Mike, Just received my rebuilt carb. that you rebuilt. My jeep idles great, but will not accelerate smoothly, definite hesitation while accelerating and some popping . once i'm up to speed it seems to run better. Do I need a fuel pressure regulator or ? Thanks for your help. Jeff 1961 cj5 f134

I’ve been told I need a regulator to help my Solex carb. I know they are placed after the fuel pump, but where on the engine are the the regulators mounted?

Yes, I do believe so. But you always want to run NON-ethanol.

Typically you want the fuel filter before the fuel pump and they your regulator after the fuel pump.
