I have a1953 M38A1. It has the 24 volt file sending unit (810289). When the fuel tank is full the gauge only reads 1/2 full. Is there a way to calibrate them to read full?

Check the tabs on your sending unit and also most times it is just a bag ground on the gauge. Also i would check your sending unit with a Ohms reader to make sure its working correctly.

I have a willys m170 that was originally 24 v but has been changed to 12 v. It has the original 24 v fuel sending unit. Cabn it be modified to 12 v so my fuel gage works? Thanks
