Hi I have a custom fuel tank for my 1958 6-226 wagon it's 10in deep will part# 914848 work

I was going through the Q & A section and two of the answers conflict each other on the gas gauge ohm readings, one was 7-9 full and 130-140 empty and the other was 8-10 full and 70-80 empty. Coulod you please explain? Thanks, Dale Henry

I need to match an aftermarket fuel gage to this sender. They have all kinds of ohm ratings. Would the standard Ford 73-10 ohms work with this one? or do I need something else?

How do you adjust the reading on the fuel gauge?

I pulled the tank out of my 1950 Jeepster. It has a smooth flange and no holes for the sending unit. On the sending unit is a steel ring with the 6 screws in it, that was loose. Does this ring tighten to the tank flange when the sending unit is installed?

What are the ohm resistance values for this unit? I am having my guages converted from 6 to 12 volt and need the ohm values to have it correctly calibrated.
