Reference headlight switch for 1959 utility wagon: The one in the car resembles the one shown in figure 176 on page 143 of then 1954-61 service manual. None of the ones shown inn the on line catalogue seem to match. ??

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Not sure exactly which manual your in but this one will work for the years and models we show. Please see item description too for more info.

The new headlight control switch (916357) I just bought does not seem to have a connection for the instrument panel lights? The OEM switch does -- as shown on your control switch guide. What am I missing? Thanks, Tom

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
There is a terminal for it. See the wiring instructions link. You can email mike@Kaiserwillys.com too to help.

I just bought this switch and I hooked it up on my 62 Truck. Maybe I read something wrong or having a blonde moment but when I pull the switch out the first pull the park lights turn on, and then on the second pull the headlights turn on but I lose the park lights? I have it hooked up per your guys Diagram on the webpage here. Used to work just fine with my old switch, old switch just wore out on the contacts when pulling it out and was tired of finding the “sweet spot” for the lights to work.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you can please double check all your ground connections and the way its wired up. Email mike@kaiserwillys.com too and I can help.

Do you have a correct wiring diagram for part #916357?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
https://www.kaiserwillys.com/downloads/Headlight-Control-Switch-Diagram.pdf I believe these are the same. Just check the stampings on the backside.

I have had the light switch for awhile. Unfortunately cannot find instructions. Are there wiring instructions or diagrams available?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
https://www.kaiserwillys.com/downloads/Headlight-Control-Switch-Diagram.pdf I believe these are the same. Double check the markings on the switch. It is embossed.

Why does this not show for the 1950 model trucks? It's a match to the original light switch that was in my 1950 truck - and the 1950-51 master parts catalog shows it to be a match to this switch.

Willys Tech:
924788 is the part number for the earlier Willys.

Will this work with 12volt conversion

Willys Tech:
Yes this works on both 6 and 12 volt.

Will this switch control the dome light?

Willys Tech:
Yes that is correct.

Does this switch come with the engraved knob?

Willys Tech:
No, but we can get good used. Please call me toll free.
