I received this nut from you recently and I discovered that it has a 13/16" opening for the horn button assembly ... that is not what I wanted. My 48 2A has a nut with the same diameter threaded hole but the opening for the horn button is approximately 5/8 " diameter, do you have a new nut like that and the little black bakelite horn button for it.?

I have a 53' 3B. Took the steering wheel off and dinged the threads. Looking for a tap and die to clean up threads...are these 13/16X20? Will need the horn button once I get the threads cleaned up. Thanks

Yes, they are a 13/16-20 thread

My 46 CJ2A's column doesn't look right. Cannot figure out how this would mount. Someone put a cobbled up wheel on it, and all I can see looking at the opening where the wheel slides on the the shaft are serrations going around the top of the column, not threads. Is something missing there? Right now there's nothing holding the wheel on 'cept for rust...really...but the wheel won't budge in the off direction...thanks...Curt

Yikes, my steering wheel came off of our 57 Willy CJ-5 on the farm. The help doesn't know where the ring nut went. Will this 'specialty nut' thread onto the steering column and keep my steering wheel in place? Thanks
