will this be ok in the rear dana 27 in my 1942 ford gpw

Yes, I do believe this will work in the rear as well for your Willys MB.

I have a 42 GPW,with the 27 in the rear, will this work ? Seems they all say these are for front axles only.

I do believe this will work because the same ring and pinion is used. I will try to confirm.

After installing, do you need to add any type of additive when putting rear end grease back in?

You show that the LR2118 will work in a Dana 25 or 27. When I research the same item the LR2115 if for a Dana 27 and LR2110 is for a Dana 25. I have bought many items from you and never had a problem. I have a Dana 25 front axle.

Can this locker be installed with the carrier still in the housing with 5.38 ratio?

I am looking hard at a 48 cj2a 25/41 with lockers front and rear. Not sure brand. I have had a detroit locker on the rear of a CJ7 which was exciting to say the least on icy pavement. Wondering how a front locker behaves on dry pavement and would it be suicide in the winter? Does anybody make a selectable front and I guess rear for the 25/41 combo?

I am rebuilding a 1947 CJ2A and was wondering if these are safe to use on the front and rear axles on the highway?

Yes, pretty much all willys only go about 45 miles per hour anyways.

Is this a full lock of the axle at all times or does it act like a limited slip while steering on pavement?

No these are an internal item by your ring & pinion. Sounds like your looking for part number: 400501

If I install the new lock-right performance in the front and rear axlr of my 1952 m38 will this give me positive traction.

Yes that is correct.

do you know if the lock right no slip lockers will fit in a cj2a with a dana 25 front and dana 41 rear ?
