I am rebuilding an M38 motor. I see that my factory exhaust valves/keepers/retaining plates are different than the CJs, and this kit comes with CJ valves. So along with this kit I'll need qty4 637044 and qty8 375994? Also, are the pictures of the valve you have on this page pictures of the actual valves? Because the valves shown here look like my exhaust valves (which are supposed to be anomalies) and look nothing like my intake valves (which are supposed to be normal). Thank you.

They used different valves thru the years for retainers or rotators. The M38 with the 4-134L head could have 802639 or 800829 valves in there. I can make up the kit for you. Please call and ask for Mike M.

Your rear end will be stamped by the pumpkin. Or if you want to take the cover off and get us the numbers off your ring or pinion and we can ID it for you.
