Lock-Right Performance Locker Kit
Fits 49-64 Jeep & Willys with Dana 44 rear (10 Spline)

Part # LR2415

New Lock-RIght Performance Locker Kit.

The POWERTRAX LOCK-RIGHT Locker is the original locking differential that could be easily installed in existing case assemblies without any special tools or setup equipment. It has been widely used in demanding off-road applications around the world requiring extreme traction output and high-strength.

Helpful Guides and Illustrations:
Lock-Right Performance Locker Installation Manual

Application:
Dana 44 rear with 10 spline

Fits:
49-53 CJ-3A
53-64 CJ-3B
55-62 CJ-5
50-52 M38
53-63 M38A1
46-64 Truck
46-64 Station Wagon

When operating off-road, the LOCK-RIGHT will always send the engine power to the wheels that need it most. For example, if you are rock crawling and one wheel is in the air (complete loss of traction), the wheel on the ground will receive the engine power and keep you going. Whether it be snow, sand, mud, ice, etc... the LOCK-RIGHT will give you the traction you need.

My 1951 CJ3A is one of the early ones with the DANA 41 rear axles. Which locker fits?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
LR2416 - but we can't get those right now.

I notice on both the 10 and 19 spline you do not list the 52 M38A1. Which one is correct?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
10 would be for that year M38A1

I want to modify a rear axle dana 44 10 spline tapered axle shafts by the dana 27 rear axle shafts and I want to add this locker, it will work?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I dont think these will interchange. Please call toll free and ask for Mike M. I'll try to help out.

I am rebuilding an M38 motor. I see that my factory exhaust valves/keepers/retaining plates are different than the CJs, and this kit comes with CJ valves. So along with this kit I'll need qty4 637044 and qty8 375994? Also, are the pictures of the valve you have on this page pictures of the actual valves? Because the valves shown here look like my exhaust valves (which are supposed to be anomalies) and look nothing like my intake valves (which are supposed to be normal). Thank you.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They used different valves thru the years for retainers or rotators. The M38 with the 4-134L head could have 802639 or 800829 valves in there. I can make up the kit for you. Please call and ask for Mike M.

Do you know how manny splines my M38A1C from 1960 serial nr. 16899 do have on the rear axle?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
10 spline

Where would I find proper installation instructions? There was no documentation in the box. Tx

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are on the manufactures website or we can send them to you as well. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and we can help. Thanks!

Just had a question about the splines. How do i figure out which rear i have with out taking the axle out? (if there even is a way to tell) marking or anything on the diff

Willys Tech:
Your rear end will be stamped by the pumpkin. Or if you want to take the cover off and get us the numbers off your ring or pinion and we can ID it for you.
