Missing a brake cylinder rod will item #637599 work with your dual master cylinder in a 1956 truck ?

If the push rod goes bad would the brake fluid leak out of the master cylinder when you apply pressure with the brake pedal? Is there a brake booster involved also with the master cylinder with all Willys models? I have an F-Head 134 Engine with a CJ3a body. Thankyou

They never originally used a booster with any Willys. If you are leaking at the MC you may want to check your free pedal travel. You could be plunging past the valve causing it to leak.
