I have a 1953 M38A1. Does this manual show step by step instructions on rebuilding the engine and transmission from bare block or case to complete finish? Torque specs, mic specs, etc.? Transfer case also?

Obtained a 1952 Willys-Overland Model MD (utility truck M38A-1) per the Army Technical Manual (covers engine and clutch). Which mechanical Manual should I get? Have not attempted to run the unit as it has not been run in 4 years or so. Removed the 12 volts battery. Appears the unit is now set up for 12 volts. Does this change the mechanical manual?
