You make a slit in the side and then wrap it around. The clamp will then clamp it back together and around the tubing.

Mike, would these frame clips work for the wire harness for a 46 cj2a or does the new harness come with the mounting hardware. For example, where the headlight harness goes across the fan shroud? I'm trying to find some with the braided cloth as the original.
